Marie-Claire van der Bruggen has written a beautiful and touching book. Reading it, I thought: ‘Well, there you are, you have a bookcase full of spiritual, philosophical and esoteric literature, and suddenly there is a bite-snap story and the rest can actually be thrown in the rubbish bin. How clearly can you say it?'
The Fairy Tale of Death is a little gem with which basically you have to start with every single day, in order to help you to remember why we are here on earth. Remembering, nothing but remembering...
Marie-Claire has surprisingly succeeded in writing a book that is accessible to both young and old. There were tears in my eyes reading the story. I am sure that both adults and children will feel the same emotion because it touches the very depths of our soul.
